Graphic Design Intern (email for fall 2008)

RDesign is seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented and talented individual to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to learn and develop in a creative, casual and open working environment.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with and support the Creative Director in the creation of original artwork (brochures, logos, web pages, etc.) for diverse clients. Ensure designs are consistent with client expectations, compelling user experiences and overall project goals. Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.
Required Skills: Must be hungry to learn new things. Working knowledge of some of the following industry standard design programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe GoLive, Adobe InDesign and Flash. Strong communication skills, avid web surfer, able to take criticism, honest and up-front, positive personality.
Bonuses that will earn you some free M&Ms: Drawing skills and photo color-correction are a plus! Experience applying theories and marketing concepts related to color schemes, use of space, text placement, usability and visual flow. Understanding of HTML and CSS.
